I am sorry, but thank you for understanding.

...Zombie!
The hunt for an 'actual' job is over. (I actually had to edit this entry because 10 minutes after saying I MAY have the job, they called me offering me the job!)
I'm pretty excited about this. Not as excited about taking focus off of the burlesque/pinup adventures a little bit, but it's completely necessary at the moment...as I understand I'm going to be part time, and seasonal so it shouldn't take too much time aware from the fun stuff.. but anything to help Eddie fret about bills less.
So, earlier this week, the day I got the callback for my second interview I got news that I was requested to be the featured zombie in a local horror flick in Tulsa! So, I'm getting into motion pictures, Hob-Gobs! This is goign to be so much fun, since I'm very prone to being zombiefied on a casual basis! This one sounds fun, think bathingsuit/bikini zombies! The filming is going to be this Saturday, so I have to gather my things, and my dogs and head that direction when Eddie gets off of work today! I'm pretty excited about this one. Check back soon!
Until then;

Quick Update!
Quick update! I'm trying to update pretty often, as I usually have a lot going on! Sometimes I neglect this thing!
Right now I'm working on a line of glamorous pasties/hair accessories to sell on my Etsy shop. I have been designing them for a while, so I'm hoping I can get some of each things made so I can get good product shots soon. It may be cliche to have a shop or what not, but seeing as the burlesque is my only source of income, I need to supplement it with something! Hopefully people will like them!
I have one more non-monthly burlesque show before I get a break! I love performing, but on Thursday I got dehydrated.. which in turn gave me a kidney infection, so I'm not really up to performing too much.
This next show will be fun! I'll be debuting a new routine. I planned to make a bigger production out of this routine, but as someone picked a routine to do that was too close to my signature Voodoo routine I have to whip up another one to fit the night's theme. Luckily I have a book that I keep all of my burlesque ideas/sketches handy! I actually thought of this routine last year.. but never found a time to make the props.. I'm disappointed I only have a week to prepare, but I LOVE the lady putting the show on, so how can I refuse!? My husband and boylesque performer Eddie Mercury will be performing, too! Also with a new routine!
Here's the flyer!

I'm so excited for it! I suppose that's all I can think of at the moment!
Until next time.

Dangerous
I am super excited to share my newest edit from the fabulous Dangerously Dolly!

Photo: Dangerously Dolly MUAH: BillieJo
If you are or will be in Atlanta, or in a city that she is traveling to: BOOK HER! Seriously, I have been drooling over her work for a while, and she is super amazing and very friendly while maintaining professionalism! Also any model/photographer looking to hire a great MUA, don't look any further than BillieJo, her work is fantastic and so is her kindness and professionalism.
Hope you enjoy the picture, have another on the way!
Metal UNCHAINED!
I just got back from Texas! Last night was the Broads and Panties presents: Metal UNCHAINED show! I have been looking forward to this show for a while! Well, seeing how I LOVE the headliners a ridiculous amount I'm a little Biased. I felt completely honored to be a part of it, and that one of those ladies recommended me for the show! <3 It is always good seeing friends! I was so excited that I would get to see Kira again.. I never make it out to L.A, so I don't see her very often. I was so happy to be a part of this show, to work with such amazing people and perform for an awesome crowd! I got one of the best responses that I have ever had from a crowd, fans, and even my friends that attended!
Unfortunately, the day before the show I got dehydrated because my sleep schedule was off and I overslept... woke up at 3 in the morning to discover that I was pretty sure that I had a kidney infection. I went to the doctor and sure enough: kidney infection! So yesterday I had to run some last minute errands... with a fever from the infection, in 100+ degree weather, in an un air conditioned car. My senses were off and I drove very casually like a crazy lady... probably a combination between little food, meds, fever and the heat.. but I was so out of it. Got pulled over and yelled at by a cop...my husband was on the phone in the seat and heard the colorful words.. so awesome. It could have been the tearful anxiety driven reaction to the cop screaming at me, or the nipple slip that may have happened (it was a low cut shirt...it happens... seat belts, you know?).. but even after the crazy driving and such (probably could of had 5 tickets worth) he let me go. Scott free. Needless to say I sat there for a moment, completely perplexed.
Went home, finished packing, left for Texas early, got caught in horrible construction sites leaving town...plus someone rear ending a horse trailer and stopped traffic. We were at a standstill twice in our trip. We still made it to the show on time. Had plenty of time to settle everything. It was such an awesome, relaxed, and drama free show. I really had an amazing time. Although I was super sick, and my kidneys were screaming by the time my first number came up, I had so much fun! I danced to Motorhead and had such a great reaction! The rest of the show was awesome, I enjoyed every performer thoroughly, onstage and off(I won't lie, backstage burlesque antics are the BEST!) and was so happy to see them perform! Those are some amazing ladies! After the show we made rounds, mingled. I got to meet some Facebook friends and fans, which is something I always enjoy!
I just wanted to thank everyone who made this show happen, and for having me as a part of the show! And of course a BIG thank you for everyone who came out to support us, you were an awesome crowd! <3

Atlanta Trip
It was such a great opportunity, so great I couldn't refuse! JJ drove me to Texas to pick up Ms Dynamite Dames herself and then we headed to Alabama. We stopped at Sun Records and Graceland on the way! It was so fun! We ended up in Alabama at Cherry Dame's house well into the evening, showered and then passed out.
Dynamite Dames and Cherry Dame shot their Atlanta bookings and JJ and I explored the stores in the area! We got some rad stuff and then met up with the ladies, and then had dinner before we left town. One veggie burger later we were on the road back to Texas.
It was a long grueling trip back, but we made it to Fort Worth, took a breather and then JJ and I headed back to Oklahoma. We met up with our mopey boys and hung out with them before Eddie and I drove back home late at night. It was a whirlwind trip, but it was an amazing experience.. and I thank everyone involved! So much!
We are already planning to return early 2011 and I would love to book some more shoots, and maybe a show while we'll be there!

Thank you!
Hello Boils and Ghouls!
THANK YOU for everyone that voted for me to help me win this shoot! I cannot thank everyone enough! It was so much fun! This shot was especially fun because it is poking fun at the fact that I cannot cook very well AND I got to play with fire!
It was recently featured on www.pinuplifestyle.com and used in a part of their golden ticket promotion for Viva Las Vegas 13 this weekend!
Until then;
Stay Spooktacular,
Vera Voodoo.
