Hello again Boils and Ghouls!

I have been getting ready all day... for my first burlesque performance!

I'm pretty excited and have been going over both of my routines like you wouldn't believe! I have to get my costumes together and curl my hair, after that, it's makeup, and then going to the venue.

I'm extremely excited, but not really sure what to expect! There's that cinch in my gut, but I know I'll knock 'em dead tonight! Tonight shall be interesting indeed!

Vincent Price's Birthday...

...Is today! I cannot even put int words how much this man meant to me growing up. God knows he's the only reason we wish to name our son Vincent. He was one of my childhood heroes!

Hello Boils and Ghouls, 

I'm beginning a new chapter in my life. I'm becoming a burlesque dancer! Last night was my first introduction as Vera Voodoo! 

After admiring the art for so long, I have longed to do it... but never thought I would be able to. Certain events inspired me to do more in my life and being pushed from a few people, including my long time love and husband, I am entering into this new world!

At this point, I have studied a lot, all but joined a revue here in my city, and am now working on my first routine! The darling inside the revue who has been helping me has been so supportive and helped me hone my creative skills and we made an adorable costume!

I went to my first gig last night, and along with the other new girl in the revue was the pickup artist for the girls! It was a group member's birthday show, and we made a sexy cake out of her, sprinkled her with goodies and spoon-fed it all to the crowd, it was a steamy mess of half-naked hotness!

I'm keeping this to keep track of where I start, and where I end. It shall be an interesting show.
